Mono Silkscreen Printing Workshop

(Ages 9-15) New!

Mono silkscreen printing is a new and innovative printmaking technique involving painting directly onto a silk screen in a fluid manner. A squeegee is then used to pull a paint medium over the screen, forcing the paint onto the page.  The colors and unique surface textures are spectacular and cannot be achieved through painting directly on paper. The process satisfies both the painter and the print maker.  Thermofax mini screens will be used to overprint onto the pulled print. Supply fee of $12.00 due on the day of class.  Participants will take home multiple prints. Caution: Mono Screen Printing activity is addictive! A $10.00 supply fee due on day of class.
